TS Son of Screamer build issue ?

OK !!

I got pist off , and did some changes to the circuit to see if it would help ....

Diodes back to 4148
C4 to .047
C5 to .047
R4 to 2.2K


Now the drive pot works , but its still not as responsive as i would like ...
But it sounds alot better imo ...


In this circuit , how would you increase the gain or drive  ?
How would you get the low end even tighter ?

Decrease the input capacitor to reduce the bass.
