different values in the ZVex SHO and its incorporation into other ZVex effects

When looking at the SHO, I noticed that the component values are pretty much the same when comparing the stand-alone circuit to its incorporation into the Super-Duper...it's just two SHOs, one into the other.  But the values are different when looking at the first stage of the Box of Rock (I'm looking at the Krankosaurus on madbean), the 10M resistors are changed to 1M, and the cap coming off the first stage of the Box of Rock -- the one right before the 470K/470pf filter -- has been reduced significantly, from the 10uF on the original circuit to a .022uF.

I can guess (though I may be wrong) that reducing the 10uF to the .022uF has to do with taming the signal as it goes through two successive gain stages for a particular final tone (as opposed to the more "basic" single SHO cascading into another one), but why are the 10M resistors reduced to 1M?
