I've been asked to convert an Ibanez CP9 back from a relay bypass to the stock buffered bypass. For that I have to put 2 FETs back in, and a few resistors and diodes. The FETs listed on the schematic are 2SK44 but I've seen it mentioned that the 9 series also used 2SK30A, which is what I can actually get. It's not a big investment, but could someone confirm that this will work fine?

I can't guarantee it will work fine, but 2SK30A was used in earlier variants of JFET switching, so there's no obvious reason it would not work. There may be some details to mess with.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Will work fine. Ibanez/Maxon uses this substitute (amd others) in many cases.
More stuff, less fear, less  hassle and less censoring? How 'bout it??. To discuss what YOU want to discuss instead of what others decide for you. It's possible...

But not at diystompboxes.com...... regrettably

Cool beans :icon_mrgreen: I gathered as much, as all the other part values in the switch section seemed to match as well.
