I had an idea I wanted to run by you guys...maybe its simple or maybe its wishful thinking....

I wanted to put an LBP and a Bazz Fuss (in that order) and have just one stomp switch to turn on either just the LPB or both effects depending on the position of a two way toggle switch.....

I figure if I want both effects on or off...using two stomp switches just means to much tap dancing....

ALSO is it realistic to run both effects off of one 9 volt ?

Yes that would work no problem.   Just recently I built a LPB/Bazz Fuzz in a pedal (no switch and the opposite way around, with a minor modification to reduce the gain - the bazz fuss has a high output anyway) myself.

They aren't high-current devices.

You just need to wire a bypass (bazz fuss) within a bypass (whole thing) circuit.

It's a bit of wiring but not hard.

What made you decide to put the Bazz Fuss first?
I'd be using the darlington transistor version with a lower value output cap to make it more guitar friendly...I've actually already made both effects but don't have many enclosures so they're just a heap of wires right now...figured it'd be a nice way to put them together in a unique way.

well what I did was put a Big Muff tone stack in there, but because that is a passive tone control, you then lose a bit of volume, so I added the LPB circuit after that to make up the volume.

It actually worked a bit TOO well, so I put a 1.5k in there instead of the 360ohm to bring the gain down so that "unity" is now about 10 o clock on the volume control.

I guess I did it that way because I just wanted a level boost rather than feeding a higher level into it - you get masses of fuzz anyway.

And the BF is supposed to work best at the start of your fx chain.  The LPB would be a bit of a buffer, which you don't want - maybe.  If it sounds good, then great, but maybe try it both ways.

After building it I found there was a circuit called the "Whisker Biscuit" which is basically the same as what I'd done!

I think I've officially spent to long on this forum because I'm convinced I understood every word of what you just said. Thanks again for your input!
