Engl E530 emulation - check it out!

Hey fellas. I always wanted the E530 lead tone, but time will pass until I get skilled enough to play with tubes. Fortunately, J0K3RX (big thanks to you!) posted some great JFet emulations of great amps. So I thought - why not give the method a try?
Here's the schematic I used. Not sure if it's correct, but it likely is. Found it on google graphics.

So I did almost nothing.   Added only the diodes, 5th transistor and biasing pots.
I also made a PCB, but go easy on me. It's my first PCB design ever, if you don't count a 3PDT daughterboard and a Ruby amp. I upload all the files, so if someone finds any mistake, or thinks the PCB is sh*t, it's easy to change anything.

to be honest - after trying dr boogie i'm more into building tube preamps than their fet emulations.
They (fet emulations) might be useful while playing at home on a small crappy amp but I can't imagine any serious player using them on stage. (that's just my biased opinion and observations - anyone can prove me wrong by posting a full band context sound or video clip)

Haven't built it yet. I'm in the middle of my exams, and totally broke, so I'm just doing it for contribution to the boards, and for fun in the free time.
I have no proof of usefullnes in a live situation, but there's a proof of it in recording sessions on youtube. Once I build any of these emus, I'll check it live. But honestly, I've heard of people using those stuff on stage.

Good video, but it sounds pretty shit when the tone is turned down, even with the tone at 12:00 it sounds pretty dull.
Does the real valve amp behave the same ?

You may have built yours incorrectly and or running it improperly? Maybe you should try running a "good jfet preamp" into a good power amp rather than through the front preamp section of a small crappy amp... I know of many "serious players" who use them...live and studio! Are you serious!? Not everybody has $2000 to drop on a not even top of the line tube amp... In my experiences tube are touchy and sound different in different situations, locations depending on the weather, humidity, altitude, heat, cold etc... In the studio you might have the perfect sound with tubes and the next day everything is different... Tubes are consistently inconstant. Not so much the preamp but the power tubes. In any case these are as reliable as any tube amp if not more so. And you can buy a guitar case full of these for less than one tube head or combo... Not knocking tube preamps but to say that these don't compare is just ridiculous!
