is there a way to mod an mxr blue box to have more volume and midrange?

I have one that I like very much, but it just cant cut live and seems like it barely gets louder than unity.

This device's volume is limited by the logic IC output levels. I added a super hard on to mine - the schematic ir really small and can be fitted in the same enclosure.

you can replace C11 (0.01uf) with a 0.0022uf cap and you will get a boost.. you can also wire both of them to a dpdt switch and toggle between the two..it is C9 on the tonepad version..noise fx has a page showing how to do it..google mxr bluebox mods ...you can find it there
