I have a rebote project that has several repeats when the knob is all the way down.
When cranked up it does a nice oscillation; but how can I have it only be one repeat when the knob is all the way down?

Are you using a purchased board? Or your own transfer/etch from a layout off the 'net (tonepad, for example)? Or your own layout to your own design?

Well, it's actually more of a DBD delay; but I hear that it's so similar to a Rebote that I just asked about that instead.
The layout is my own and I etch my own boards; pulled from a schematic online - pretty similar to a Rebote with slight changes in values.

Got a link to the schematic and your layout?  I suspect you've got a resistor in the wrong place.
