I have no idea where to get a button for that switch, other than perhaps the place you are buying that switch.   ;)

My question to you is this:  Why on earth would you spend your personal time and effort (along with the cost of the other components, enclosure, paint, artwork, etc.) on a pedal and stick a twenty cent switch in it?  Do you really anticipate that this switch will last for a zillion duty cycles?  Do you think it will be immune from switch bounce problems?  If it is to be a true "stomp switch" how many times do you think you can "STOMP" on it?

Don't always go for the cheapest components.  Buy something that will work today, and tomorrow, and for many more days to come.

Hey, I have purchased components from the same supplier.  However, resistors are a different issue.  Not a lot of mechanical stress involved there, although it has been noted that the gauge on the leads is a lot smaller.  Still they will last forever.  A 20 cent switch is DOOMED.

My advice, buy a whole bunch.  You will be replacing them frequently.  Twenty bucks, a hundred switches.  Should be good for a year's worth of gigs, minus the down time.  There will be a LOT of down time.

All of the above is a personal opinion.  The commitee to re-elect the resident expert has no control over the content of this message.  You should be aware that others who followed the dictates of this message suffered from nose bleeds, hemorrhoids, kidney stones, and halitosis.  You may or may not endure similar complications.  Consult your physician if your 20 cent switches go belly up in a heartbeat.

Well, thanks for all your efforts...  ::) I have the same switches in my SS-30 and they seem pretty solid for what they are used for! Of course I don't use them to step on and I don't poke them a zillion times but hey, what do I know...? I guess I will write AMT and tell them to quit putting those sh!tty switches in their entire line of pedals and their Stonehead 50w amp cause KazooMan says so... Smart @ss :icon_wink:
