is there a tiny, massive cave inside it?...  :)

just curious,  i might build a verb soon.... ;)

Apparently a few 2399s. Three IIRC.

Am about to build one myself. Not sure which circuit. Which are you looking at?

no circuit in particular,  i was just wondering what magic lay inside them....good old pt2399's eh...

so thats why they sound a little bit 'jumpy delay '' then when guitar is whacked....hmmmm...

Did they fix the quality control issues with these Belton units? For a while a builder I know was having to send at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the Belton units he ordered because they were either noisy or somehow out of spec.

You can look up the patent information for the brick. It has the basic schematic of what's inside. It's three PT2399s. Don't have a link.

While not exactly a "stompbox" there is nothing that soulds quite like a spring reverb with tubes.  Pretty easy to build, but it will cost more than a stompbox.  You do need to be comfortable working with line voltage circuits.

I have posted gut shots of a vintage 60's Fender reverb on another forum and can provide them if you (or anyone else) like(s).  I can also provide cabinet and chassis dimensions.

Yes, please. I have daydreams of a submini version powered by SMPS.

Google "Fender Amp Field Guide" for schematics - should give you some ideas.

So it won't get buried, I will start a new thread and post the guts shots of a vintage Fender reverb unit with additional information.

My Belton Brick arrived on Friday and I breadboarded it with support circuitry today.

Sound very sweet with a clean Tele through it.

It kind of sounds like spring if you gave spring a predelay. Spring + predelay is a great combo anyway.

Think I'm going to use the datasheet schematic, but with an input buffer and wet signal tone control. And maybe a high pass on the wet signal prior to the brick, but given how nice it sounds maybe I won't bother.
