Dpdt on/off/on conversion to on/on/on, possible?

In my country dpdt on/on/on are rare, and are really expensive ( 10 euros per piece ). I've heard that one could mod on/off/on to on/on/on, Z mode or something like that. Can someone explain how?

you can wire them, just centre to one side, other centre to other side
