What guitar is your friend playing?  single coils or humbuckers?

He used a Jazzmaster to try it out so both humbuckers and singles. An hour and a half workout with a few mods along the way so he really got a feel for it. I think he's using the Jazzmaster on this:

I'll try RG's leakage tester on some of my Germ trannies, find some that are OK and see if that makes a difference.
Right now I think it's sounding good. Just need to find a wet/dry blend control that works. The ones I've tried so far seem to swamp out the dry signal way too much. I realize that there's quite a gain difference between the wet and dry signals but it seems that the pedal circuit is "eating" the dry signal.
