MXR classis distortion HELP!

Hey, i just got an mxr classic distortion for ten bucks, and i need help to fix it!
The pedal will turn on when i hit the switch or at least the led will, but i get no
output at all when the pedal is engaged. With the pedal in bypas, i get my normal
signal. i would love the help to fix this so comment away!

Here are a couple places I start.  You have the LED engaged which is always a good sign.  First thing to ask is if there were any previous mods done on the pedal?  In the past when I have built a pedal, the LED is working but I'm getting no effect I go in and reflow the solder.  Depending on the age of the pedal it might not be a bad idea to do this anyway.  Start there and look for anything that looks abnormal.
