After stumbling upon Tonepad's Orange Squeezer Compressor schematic (shown below) and PCB layout, I decided to try and lay it out on a perf board and fit it inside a 1590b enclosure.
This is only my second attempt at laying out my own perf board design, and as far as I can tell everything should be wired correctly (ignore off-board wiring, I'm planning on connecting it to the 3PDT to complete this overall pedal design). If anything is wrong or if you have any suggestions for making the layout better, please comment below  :)

I think you have Source and Gate reversed on both the JFETs.  The 2N5457 (according to the Fairchild datasheet I'm looking at) has the pins laid out D, S, G working from top to bottom with the orientation you have there (flat side facing left).

Aside from that, although you said ignore off-board wiring, you provided the vast majority of it... There's no GND connection to the Input and Output jack sockets?

I can't find anything else so far.
...you fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way...
