Hi everyone... I've been doing more demo vids so I though I'd share... this one is a Jordan Bosstone... It's the Nashville circuit except for the input and output caps which are .1uf so it really does that octave thing as the notes fade into sustain.

Thanks to everyone here for sharing all the great info! Enjoy  :)

Though I'd add that Q1 is pn2369a around 90hfe and Q2 is an unmeasured 2n2907.... I some 2n2222 and 2n3906 laying around but these sounded so good I didn't mess with swapping them

Sounds great!
I never got the octave thing to happen with mine for some reason, but I tried a bunch of different trannies

I just looked at the schematics you find on the web.  It looks to me you can adjust one resistor value to adjust the bias of both transistors.

Thanks all for the kind feedback... I took this thing to the stage last night and I really enjoyed it. I normally use a fuzz face and the guitar volume knob or my amp's overdrive for 80% of the gig and then a tbmkii for big sustain. I found myself going to the bosstone for the big fuzz / sustain stuff last night. It will most likely gain a permanent spot on my board.

Great vid... I liked the 2n2222 set and also the germanium sounded like an awesome low gain fuzz... almost overdrive. Definitely try the larger caps if you want to get the octave thing to happen.
