I tried it long ago, I did not like UI and the limited export options, only the silkscreen in the version I had installed. Not a big problem for small PCBs if you capture the screen and use Photoshop to resize to 288/300dpi.

I noticed that Fritzing installs 4500 files!!! I hate programs doing that!!!

no such packages, but you can install "Quad Cortex", "Helix" or "Kemper" instead.

Thanks guys as soon as i've cleaned up and reinstalled the OS i will use theses.
Meantime its back to hand drawings. :)

Not to blame Fritzing, but I also noticed the same thing. Doesn't make sense, as the program itself is rather small in size, and doesn't actually need all those 4k5 files to run.

Also, is there an option to use schematic image as a background? Would make whole process easier, when placing components, instead of continuously switching between Fritzing, and an image processing software.
