Hi everyone,

I built an Octave Up Sick Box using this vero layout: http://www.eskimo.plus.com/fxstuff/ousb.png. I used BAT41's for D1 and D2 and IN4148's for D3 - D6.

I was testing a few voltages and noticed that there's approximately -0.19mV at the output of the effect (wiper of the Vol pot). On the other side of the output cap (C6), I have -1.3V. These seem to be the only two nodes in the circuit where I'm getting negative voltages. Is this normal for this effect?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, it seems to be working OK. I don't have it wired up with a bypass switch right now though...would switch popping be an issue when there's a negative voltage on the output?

check polarities on electrolytics and test it on small speaker
