hi

im fixing this pedal and im not quite sure is yellow wire for output signal?

Mark Hammer

This gutshot has the yellow wire coming from pad #2:

And the schematic shows pad #2 going from D1 to the ring lug on the input jack.  Does that make sense?

bukas

nope, pad #1 is input signal jack, pad #4 (white) output shield as i can see.

I'll solder it to output tip and see what happens xD

Mark Hammer

You are correct that wire #1 gets the audio input.  But wire #2 to the ring on the input jack is used for turning the battery on, not for the audio signal.

bukas

i guess that could be model variation, input ring and sleeve are soldered (black wires) input signal is brown, output shield is white and output signal is yellow.

one of output jack lugs was broken so couldn't find solder point of yellow wire

thx for replys

Mark Hammer

Well, the sensible thing to do is to get yourself a copy of the schematic, see what components the yellow wiore goes to on the board and figure it out from that.

battery worked before i took your advice but now pedal works. thank you very much. as for yellow wire i really don't care what it actually does as long it does xD
