Marty mentioned a while ago that he took out the Baxandall tonestack from the Colorsound Overdriver and replaced it with the BMP tonestack.  This sounds like a neat idea and I'd like to try it, but in looking at the Overdriver schematic, it's not clear to me how to decouple the Baxandall from the space between Q2 and Q3.  Here's the schem:

Where are the potential decoupling points here, and how should the BMP style tonestack be substituted into it?  I can see the spot after Q2 where the signal splits and goes to R7 and C7...but it gets a little confusing after that and I'm not sure how BMP tonestack would be coupled back to the third stage of the circuit...

Remove VR2, VR3, R7, R8, R9, R10, C7, C8 and C10. The BMP tonestack then goes between C5 and C9. It might need an extra cap after C5 and before the tonestack, try it without and if it doesn't work add it.

This isn't related to your question but with the original tonestack try removing C10, this basically bypasses the tonestack, turning it into a massive fuzz lots of fun  :icon_twisted:
