Hello one and all.

I should probably start off by saying I am a total Novice, and that i have been very casually modding and building (with mixed success) pedals for a little under a year.  To date i have gotten pretty familiar with the DOD grunge and how to make it suck less...

But my question today is about my Morley Tel Ray PWF. I picked it up in mostly working condition at a local Sam Ash for about $50, and after a thorough cleaning and a new rubber tread it came to life pretty well. The tone is AWESOME on the way, and the Fuzz is very cool... My only issue is that when the Wah is engaged and I rock the treadle all the way back i get a pretty noticeable drop in Volume. Is this Common with these or is there something wrong?

Probably normal.  The manual is here: http://www.morleypedals.com/pwf2.pdf.  Check out the "A Note to Guitarists" section.

Aha.. That make s a bit more sense of it. I wonder if i can reign in that range a little bit. Thanks for the tip :)

Possibly.  The schematic is here: http://www.morleypedals.com/pwfes.pdf.  Because of the LED/LDR design it is possible to change the sweep somewhat by nudging the LED a bit.  Kind of haphazard but it does work - evened out the taper a bit on my Little Alligator volume.  See this: http://www.morleypedals.com/ttwahadjust.pdf.  It's aimed at the newer stuff but the principal should work if you figure out which LED to tweak.  Of course you could also change the wah section components values.
