El Grande

I've build the El Grande bass fuzz, according to the schematic found on https://www.box.com/shared/30jfjuk1i4

I've pefboard it so far, and test it on my Marshall on my guitar. (not a bass guitar, nor a bass guitar amp).

When I engage the deep switch, I get a "deeeeeee" sound (like voltage leek or something) . When the switch is of, the annoying sound goes away. I've found out that if i remove the C 24 (4n7) of the board, the "deeeee" sound is not present either with the switch On or Off.

C24 creates that sound when the switch is on, even with all the pots turned CCW, meaning no signal input, no signal output.

Any suggestions?
