Guess you should figure it out even though it's in swedish.

Try different guitar distortions.  DIY and commercial

Remember a wider bandwidth might not be what you want.

What I mean is using large value input and output caps might cause more issues with the tone.

At first you might think you want more bass bandwidth with a fuzz however you need to think about how the bass and distortion will sound in a band or recording.  Sometime you want more bass sometimes you want a higher highpass(s) frequency(s)

Try a stock TS and Distortion Plus with a bass and other stock distortions like others posted.

+1 on Gus' comments...

I'll add that solo bass fuzz/disto versus a full band mix is like night and day... two completely different sounding animals. So if you think that your bass fuzz sounds cool when you're playing by yourself, that is absolutely no indication whatsoever of whether it will sound good or not when you get into a full band mix. I'm just sayin'... 8)

True story.have you tried the green Russian muff yet? I'm having one built by god box fx.i really dig my byoc BB overdrive on my bass.got a few other fuzzes I'm working on for bass also.

jimilee... have them install a diode lift switch on the first clipping stage. I guarantee you will use it. It makes the muff let more of the bass' clarity through. Next time I go jam I'll try to record a clip with the diodes in and out. When your guitarist's distortion is heavy, lift the diodes and you will sound like a bass again. When your guitarist is playing overdrive, diodes back in. Like moose and Gus said, in a band situation there's a world of difference in how the distortion works with bass.  :icon_wink:
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!
