I was talking about the ones at bitches love my switches at 99c each.  Those are even cheaper!
Paul

Well I meant the same brand/quality.

also wanted to add I LOVE the Tayda Battery clips http://www.taydaelectronics.com/connectors-sockets/battery-connectors-holders/9v-9-volt-battery-clip-connector-snap.html I haven't ordered any from anywhere else but the ones at the local shops I've bought stuff at were by far the worst product they had. The wires were so thin they broke off constantly and when you unclipped a battery the wires broke in the terminal end.... the plastic portion on the Tayda ones prevent this and I've never had an issue with the other end....I just ordered another 30!!!!

Glad this discussion is ongoing! I will def read thoroughly before I make my next purchase. bitcheslovemyswitches.com seems like a good place to start, but Tayda just added another coupon code... Humm, I thought Tayda's switches seemed good, but I guess I haven't used them for that long. They SEEM to be very robust, but I guess the real test is will they crap out on me in a time of importance.

I've been getting audio grade electros from mouser lately. Figured why not. Had two 3PDTs fail from Tayda. The BLMS were better but clicky. Their small DC Jacks are really cheap and a nice size but the connection it makes with the adaptor plugs is too stiff in a cheap way.  I decided to only order stomps and jacks and pots from PPP and Small bear from now on. Most passives and ics from mouser. I don't mind spending extra cash especially on stomps.

Thanks. Did have a look over at BLMS.
The stomp switches are indeed cheaper then at Tayda........but that's it! All the rest is more expensive and 6$ shipping!
When I get stuff from Tayda with a code I basically get free shipping.

Comparing the price of individual items is misleading.

Alain, That's for shipping only within the states, it's not stated prominently displayed  anymore but the shipping to canada was listed as 19.95 when i checked some time ago. Just went back in and explored further and they now have scaled shipping charges which seem to be inline with the US competition.

You can get those small power jacks from Electrosonic in Canada, made by Mode, #31-134M-0. http://www.mode-elec.com/Products/dc_plugs_jacks(26).pdf

From BLMS:

"I shop around so you don't have to. We'll beat anyone else's prices.
NOBODY BEATS THE BITCHES!"

I guess they forgot the little asterisk at the bottom to exclude 4site! They beat them on prices for their 1590B, 1590BB, 125B, and 1590DD boxes  ::)

Switches are cheap though  :icon_cool:

They should say "NOBODY BEATS THE BITCHES! on STOMPSWITCHES"

'cause that's the only item they have that beats the others!

What kind of shipping is Electrosonic charging? I've looked into them but you also get slammed with our wonderful taxes!!!
When I order from Tayda I not only get almost free shipping.....I also pay no taxes!

Can't wait for them to get more selection in!

no one else has neutrik/rean 1/4" open jacks for less than 99cents. so he now has my jack business (until i decide if the closed jacks coming from tayda are good enough). ive never been to 4site's site actually, but they are one in the same with mammoth, who already has my box business....for now. mwah ah ahhhhh

I get 10 NYS229's for under $6cdn and another 10 NYS230's for under $7 from  Electrosonic. But at present it's all pretty much moot because no one anywhere, except a few some obscure suppliers seem to have any stock. Look to be still available from Aron's on site store.

They have been out of them since you told me about them. Your not just messing with me are you?  :icon_razz: I'm stuck using the ones from Honsons!

So far I've ordered from Small Bear and Tayda and been happy with the quality of parts from both. I've been watching the BLMS site for a few weeks and if they ever get all the parts I want to order in stock at the same time I'm ready to make an order from them. 4site seems cheaper for enclosures, but you have to buy a minimum of 10 and for my location the cheapest shipping was $11. At BLMS the enclosures are priced a little higher, but for my location shipping is $5.95 flat and since I also need switches the flat rate shipping works to my advantage. As to the question of capacitor quality, those in IT will probably remember the capacitor fiasco with motherboard manufacturers a few years ago so the fears are certainly founded: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague

I wish i was just messing but they are rare right now. Mouser show no stock but have 50k on order and estimate shipping as 5/17/2013.  Hopefully others will be getting their stock in the next few weeks as well, fingers crossed.
