Changeing the range of an expression pedal for Gristleizer

Hello, I have a gristleizer that I have added 2 expression pedals to. One is speed and the other bias. If I want to narrow the range of the speed change effect when controlled from the pedal do I substitute a smaller value pot or add a resistor between 2 of the pot legs and if I do add a resistor then which 2 legs?
