Atari Punk Console Troubleshooting?!?!?!

Can't believe I messed this one up but the amp doesn't lie. I've built a couple of them in the past using a different layout (the three pot version) but decided to try this two pot version.

Here are the readings I'm getting off of it. Thanks in advance for any advice (and holding back your laughter!...but don't feel you have to).....

1=0.005
2=0.005
3=5.33
4=8.00
5=0.003
6=5.33
7=0

8=0.003
9=7.47
10=8.00
11=5.31
12=6.46
13=6.46
14=8.00

It doesn't work because the layout is wrong.  Pin 6 connects to pin 2, not 3.  I just lifted that pin 3 connection, and ran it to where C1 and R1 connect before pin 2.  Success!  If you like the APC, build the 'Cacophonator' - highly recommended!.  Larry

Made the change and now it sounds like a fart machine....not a constant tone unless its on its just above its lowest setting...time to scratch my head some more.  If I could control the farting that might be something but I can really only control the volume.

Wish I could help you further...mine worked like a champ after I discovered the layout problem.
