I know I said I got nothing, and it is late in the piece, but ....

I felt my knobs. tense is a problem, but I glue felt under whatever flange area I have, and trim it to the edge of same. they used to put felt washers under pots in the good old days, and look how far it got them.

I wasn't  'locking in' on the lead up...but the final sentence (to paraphrase Roger Waters - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6mjR5JNX7w) ..all makes perfect sense.

I'm sure that it's a primeval thing with the male of the species, that, whenever an obvious double entendre presents itself wrt knobs, flanges etc  .....it's gonna be heard regardless!
