Hello.
This is my first post here and here's my problem.
Recently, I  got old tape echo unit and i want to replace 5 DIN connectors with 6.3 Jacks, but I can't figure out connections between DIN and Jack. I'll attach picture or current 5 DIN connectors wiring. I would like you to write me something like this :

OUTPUT:
Connect RED wire to the Ring of 6.3 Jack
GRAY to the ground
GREEN to tip

etc...

If you need anything specifier, let me know. Hope someone can help me with this problem.

Hi
Wikipaedia is your friend: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_connector
So you can see that 2 is the common ground, 1 and 4 are in and 3 and 5 are out.
I'm not sure what your diagram is suggesting. Do you have a 6.3 mm stereo socket or mono?
In any case, the body is ground, and connected to 2.

Thank you for your answer.

I want to use mono 6.3 jacks. So to make it work that way, I have to connect middle pin , number 2, to ground of jack and other wires to the tip.
Am I correct ?
I know , that my questions seem stupid, but I really don't want to do any damage .

yes, as long as you use 4 jacks, or 2 stereo ones.
1 and 4 are INPUT L/R
3 and 5 are OUTPUT L/R

So get say two stereo 6.3 jacks,
wire one up
sleeve - 2
ring - 4
tip - 1

and the other
sleeve - 2
ring - 5
tip - 3

you now have an IN and OUT jack.
