Oh, good, I look forward to your post tomorrow where you tell us you built them all overnight.
My band, Midway Fair: www.midwayfair.org. Myself's music and things I make: www.jonpattonmusic.com. DIY pedal demos: www.youtube.com/jonspatton. PCBs of my Bearhug Compressor and Cardinal Harmonic Tremolo are available from http://www.1776effects.com!

shut up and get the build docs together already.

Hi
there's some fun in there for sure.
A few are diode clippers, which are likely to be similar to those we already have.
The one labelled "Звук в данном..." catches my eye. Lots of gain stages.
Cool find.

excellent site...thanx for posting. there's gotta be some different topologies in there somewhere!

don't forget to use the translator:

"The first scheme - «Fuzz» - a device for limiting amplifier. («Fuzz - box» in translation "box spray"). There is nothing there to understand, amplifier, the amplifier. Limit signal occurs in differential stage transistors V4 and V5, by moving them in saturation."

"The next two shemki - «Fuzz» - a device for limiting diodes .. This principle was the most commonly used and is still used today in most corporate "distortion." In the first scheme, along with diode switches used further transistor V3, the second - the diodes included in the feedback circuit."

"Several different diodes are included in the following diagram. This incorporation takes our "lotion" in the logarithmic amplifier. Maintaining a constant amplitude is smoother, less "sand" and the high-order harmonics. Today's language we can say that this is not a "fuzz" and "Overdrive"."

etc....

thanx again for posting

i'm on # 28 now.....   :icon_mrgreen:

hope you guys have fun with 'em...

my archive is over 20 gigs at this point. i have GOT to get a life... i haven't built anything in weeks!!

man, that's twisted, just when I thought I was getting decent at reading schematics...thanks for posting, that's some cool stuff.

Be aware that when you build one of these effects that they are actually communist listening devises!  :icon_eek:

You have been warned!
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

Coming to a Stupid Pedal Tricks episode near you.... the GULAG FUZZ!!

The roar of a Russian hydrogen bomb, the cutting edge of a Siberian winter, and the fuzzy wooliness of a well bundled babushka.

Yes... it's the GULAG FUZZ.

Build one Comrades. Build it now. For the Motherland!!!

Another 2c worth....
There's a long-tailed pair in there.
We hardly ever use them (for those not familiar, look for two transistors 'facing' each other in the schematics). This is despite some interest about 5 years ago, during which I seem to remember getting some nice distortion/fuzz out of some of the designs back then.
And surely the names for a fuzz based on a long-tail pair could be cooler than most  :icon_wink:.

I like this one:

Direct coupled stages with two diodes on the feedback path, similar to a opamp configuration but with less open gain... I'm guessing (I actually did some sims with it) that we will be happily surprised with this one. It is not only the wave form at the output but the transient regimes!

Cheers.

i may try building this one for fun... does look kinda neat!
