Maybe some think there is a psychological advantage on the judges to post near the end. I have noticed this in several contests.

Tweaking til the last moment, have my entry ready, video, photos and documentation, just want to try another time to get it working with germaniums, and then maybe I can let it rest.

If I'd'd some more time the last month I'd've had it ready sooner, but seeing as it's been, I'm happy I've got something to enter (got a few apostrophes in that sentence now, didn't I  ::) ).

We're getting down to the wire and I don't want anyone to be disqualified for a last-minute post forgetting a necessary step. Remember, the entry fee goes to the forum to help keep this place running!

You guys don't have to worry about it, we just get a list from Aron every once in a while.

Here is my 1st entry; the Deluxe Stereo Vibe
It is basically a classic Uni-vibe circuit with some modifications like the (switchable)input impedance-, gain-,and stereo output mods from R.G.Keens' articles.
It's is very similar to the mono-vibe in a wah-shell I built recently but this one has a separate expression-pedal with the circuit build into a large enclose so I had more room for the stereo-functions and extra switches.
The expression-pedal controls the speed, has a cancel switch at heel-down position and a chorus/vibrato switch at the toe-down position for on the fly switching. The chorus/vibrato and true bypass switching is done by relays to keep the audio-path short regardless of where the switches are placed.
The expression-pedal is connected to the main pedal by a 7-core cable with sturdy CB-connectors.
The main goals in this design where an as short as possible signal-path and maximum flexibility and ease in use so operating the pedal won't distract too much from the playing itself.

Making the demo video was a real pain, and I am not really satisfied with it, but considering the deadline it will have to do.
I'm going to invest in a better camera for the next demo and record in a room where I can really turn up the volume.
I used a 100w plexi-style amp on the left channel and a 5W Fender Champion 600 reissue on the right.
The guitar is as always my Squier Classic Vibe '60 strat with Seymour-Duncan SSL-1 in the neck position and the Squier tremolo bridge replaced with a Fender vintage style tremolo-bridge.

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

Bam... who wants to play now?

Kay, superlatives can't do your pedal justice... wow!

In stereo, the vibe pulls your left and right eardrum out, takes each around the block different directions, then returns them to opposite sides od your head.

Wowza.  Thank you for sharing!

Bloody hell. That build is insane! Between this and Govt's flanger, there is some stiff competition going on here!

Liquitone

wow,. thanks guys! those are great compliments.

@chad, having a cancel switch really adds to the weird stereo effects, in cancel the signal centers on the main amp and when taken off cancel it start to bounce to the 2nd amp, so apart from moving in and out of effect mode it also moves into and out of stereo mode, and it happens gradually thanks to the slow response of the light-bulb.

@deadastronaut; haha! you're going to hate me for having a 2nd pedal for this contest...  ...the DELUXE tremolo

kingswayguitar

never mind "Liquitone". that video was good enough for me considering the pedal is so great.

Stomptown - very nice.

Liquitone - there is a bit too much there to cope with in one sitting. Very cool. Is this an original circuit, and will you be sharing the schem?
