Thanks - I really needed that extra pressure.    :icon_exclaim:

Paint coat is curing - decal tonight followed by clearcoat tomorrow then assemble and video sometime next week.  I'm just hoping I don't mess anything up (goofed the primer coat twice) - clear coating is always the most mistake prone part for me.   :icon_eek:

I may not make it. I suffered a major setback last night  :icon_cry: I won't give up though, and I guess I can submit my disaster anyway.

Samples were ample though they knew nothing about germanium transistor biasing :-(

nor about brewing proper beer

Proper beer they make lots of, excellent beer they make in lesser quantity,  but they make, and served us, both kinds :-)

Is it safe to assume that there will be a mad rush of entries in the last 72-96 hours?  :icon_eek:

Maybe some think there is a psychological advantage on the judges to post near the end. I have noticed this in several contests.

Or maybe I'm reading too far into it  :-\

Interesting..  ???

I am guessing the great equalizer is the fact that the judges are grading as they go along. This way, even the submissions that are not the "freshest" in the judges minds will get their attention as needed.

This one is going to be a tough contest from what I have seen so far. Cant wait to see the rest...  ;)

For me anyway - it is merely that I am taking too long to get it finished.  Clearcoat is drying as I type.

Here's a prize tease. It's a Cardinal Tremolo. Design by Jon Patton and PCB by 1776 Effects. In addition to the PCB, I'm throwing in the enclosure and guts necessary to build it.

Aww, and he included the center off switch, even though it's not in the official parts list!

Thanks. I can't send the pedal unless you win, but you're now an official member of the Girly Men against Guns campaign. You should start receiving their monthly magazine soon, and your membership automatically makes you eligible for the GMAG Thong Contest.  ;D

I'm ready. I've been doing kegels all day.

That's going to confuse the hell out of the mailman because the NRA is sending me all these crazy right-wing magazines.

Tell us a bit about the pedal: The Cascadia Overdrive (Madbean LaVache PCB) is a modified Lovetone (TM) Les Lius, which is based on the Electra Distortion. I also designed a 3P4T daughter board that was used to change between the three clipping modes. The daughter board also allowed me to use a tri-colored LED that changes color with each clipping mode and turns off when the pedal is bypassed. Overall, I really enjoy this pedal. The three clipping modes are very distinct and give the player a lot of options. I like the pedal most when the boost is engaged and will probably leave it on for the most part.
