Hullo! I am chipping away at the Tonepad Maestro Filter/Sample and  Hold.
I see that the speed pot calls for a 1 Meg reverse log pot(16mm)
These seem scarce and all I see at Mammoth and Small Bear stock list reverse audio 1 meg post.
Can I get by with this substitute, or is there a horde of these somewhere, someone is willing to part with said pot, for a small sum of cash?
Thanks again!

That is a pretty common pot.

What problems are you having with it? Are you looking for a better price than what you have seen? Have you checked Tayda electronics?

Reverse log = reverse audio, just as "log" and "audio" are generally used interchangably, if that's the source of confusion.

You know, you can always wire up a regular old log pot "backwards" so that clockwise gets slower.

If I can solve the problem for someone else, I've learned valuable skill and information that pays me back for helping someone else.

You're not going to find them at RadioShack, or probably even Frys Electronics. But Pedal Parts Plus has them: http://www.pedalpartsplus.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=PPP&Category_Code=Pot16R
