Hi,

i've a boss DD-3 and I wonder it's possible to add a switch in order to activate and keep the hold function, without holding down the pedal with my foot?

Thank you!

I haven't tried it but in theory if you wire up a latching switch in parallel with the existing bypass switch that will do what you want. Not sure if there's enough room to mount a stomp switch any where on the pedal and still have the existing bypass switch work as well, which you'd need for using it as a delay. A better solution might be to do what Mark Hammer has suggested in the past and mount a 1/8" jack somewhere on the pedal wired up to the switch contacts and then make an external box for the latching switch.

Ok, it works!  :)

I'm going to use this pedal with a keyboard, so I've found a toggle switch and used it instead of the latching one. Good enough for hand-control...

Thank you again!

Cool, nice to know it works. I might give it a try on mine, I'd never thought about it until you asked the question.
