For which circuit?

Post a link to a schematic.
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

Govmnt_Lacky

Doesn't the MXR Zak Wylde OD use that chip?

In answer to your question.... Try any dual op amp you wish until you find one that suits your taste  ;)

LM358 is the same idea from different source. Check pin-out. Also note that '33172 can take 44V, '358 only 36V.

Death By Audio Echo Dream 2.

I traced it. Works (breadboarded) but I'm not sure if it works 100% I used a LM1458 and TL072 but they don't work the same.

Is there no way to add files/attachments?

You can upload pictures in the gallery such as your photo builds/schematics/pictures of your pedals etc... Simply go to:

As PRR stated you can use a LM358 or just about any garden variety low power dual op amp in this circuit. TL022 would be a good choice as well.

I noticed something that looks a little odd that you might want to verify: downstream from the 7805, in the power filter section, there is a 100 nano cap in series with a 100µf cap that goes to ground.

It seems as if the 100 nano should be parallel to the 100µf.

thanks. I went over the board a few times but I'll check again. The routing is a little odd on the PCB/ and I'm a noob at tracing  :icon_redface:

I'm thinking in build the Echo Dream 2, too.
Any update?
To you, buffered bypass sucks tone.
To me, it sucks my balls.
