hello,
with my multimeter I was testing 2 leds arranged in anti-parallel in the loop of a non-inverting opamp.
one of the 2 leds lights up, the other not (of course inverting the DMM leads on it).
is that normal or can I assume the other one is gone?

I'm surprised your DMM puts out enough current to light up an LED!

DMM's test voltage is enough to light up a RED Led, but not enough to do so with another colour LEDs.
Hence you can assume that one of your LEDs has gone, or it is just of another colour.

testing on the ohms range obviously. what was your meter reading on the lighting led, and what was it reading on the non-lighting? the difference may well have been that part of the circuit not in the loop.
