Klon Centaur Vero Build Rev. 2

Hi Guys,
I've built two of the Klon Vero Rev. 2's based on this verified layout:

One is wired buffered and the other is wired as True Bypass,
Both pedals work but they provide an intense amount of distortion, not overdrive but distortiion when dialed in to anything passed 12 o'clock on the gain or on the balance/output.
I'm using an SG so it's humbuckers and when I have the gain up to 12 o'clock it sounds like the opamp is distorting.
The buffered pedal doesn't sound clean when the effect is bypassed and I feel like there's too much gain going in.
I know they're meant to have a lot of gain but all of the clips i've heard have a fairly clean boost at the relative controls to what I'm dialing in.

I checked the voltage on all the pins and they are in line with these readings:

Relative to the fact that I'm using a power pack.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Did you catch the cut under C3?

Yeah,
I double checked all cuts and jumpers on both.
The weird thing is that its happening on both, so maybe ive followed something incorrectly on the layout, i'll double check all resistor values.
