ive wired up the switch, and tried it on breadboard, it works, but i need to tweak a few values now that i can hear the 4 modes in quick succession....

Nice! I've got a PCB layout on the computer, maybe I can add a couple of pads here and there for wires to the switch.....

mode 3 (swell) isn't doing what i thought it would....so hold ya horses...

right i think i know where i went wrong...

1 , 2, 4, are working....but 3 isn't doing the ''swell''....its the plus 10k on, as well as the 680k on Q2 i was missing

1 Q2 10K Q3 10K........fuzz

2 Q2 680K Q3 10K.......oct

3 Q2 680K +10k Q3 220K....swell

4 Q2 680K Q3 one leg of diode lifts, whilst adding a resistor to ground. ( theres the trickiest part.).........synth swell.

any quick n easy remedy?...jumper on the switch?..

When you say 680k + 10k do you want them in parallel like in position 1? If you do then just jumper 3 to 1 on the switch.

yep will do.....just finishing up tweaking...

then i'll crack on and sort a pcb too, whilst sweeping the floor with a broom up my butt at the same time as singing 'i will always love youuuuuooouuuu--ooooooooouuu---ooooo' .....

i'm getting massive popping when switching through 1-4 ( which i thought i would as its switching through 9v and resistors etc..

)

any clever little ways around/or to minimise this?...

Would attacking the problem like typical switch popping help? I mean 1M or 2.2M resistors to ground? I'm just guessing here.

Then again, the Foxx Guitar Synthsizer pedal rotary switch selector had (has) the same problem, and their solution was...
