Hi guys!

Again, I have a pedal not working Lol. I built a veroboard ts808 and I used it without 3pdt (always on). It was working perfectly. Today, I received my switch so I rewired it and, no sound, on and off. When I switch it on, led is working, I hear some noise (like when the pedal is on) but no guitar signal. Any advice on this?

By the way, tip to tip continuity is working and sleeve to sleeve also. And like suppose to, sleeve to tip no continuity..

Thanks!
JP

Salut J-P  ;)

I'd start by checking continuity from input tip to 3PDT, then to input of the vero.
Then same with output tip.

I'm guessing the 3PDT has something wrong in its wiring.

Pics would help (if you have time)

In the future, you may want to use different coloured wires for your connections. It makes troubleshooting easier. Black for ground, red for power, white for signal leads etc.

On the 2nd pic, the middle-right lug. Isn't it shorting with the lug under it ?

Also, if tip-tip works, does it still work when you flip the switch ?

Tip to tip when on is not working, (dc unplug) but sleeve does

You say you have no guitar signal at all ? Off or on ?
If tip-tip continuity works when switch is off, then you should at least, have bypass signal.

Are you sure your cables are ok ? I mean the instrument cables ?

No guitar signal at all, I'll take a look at my guitar cable, but it suppose to work..!

It almost sounds as if your input is grounded out completely.

Are you checking right now ? In a car ?  I hope you took those pictures while at a red light ;)

I'd like to know also how you connected the lugs on the 3PDT.

If you take your 2nd picture and proceed like this :
A  B  C
D  E  F
G  H  I

Looks like G is connected to I (and I'm still concerned about a short between I and F)
D looks to be input tip
The rest ?

Can you check the switch with a meter to make sure it's functioning correctly?

Did you change anything when you installed the switch? Resolder anything on the board, move ground wires around on the jacks?

On the board, nothing, but both of the ground was Going to dc, removed one to put on sleeve
