beavisaudio.com is down again, I'm not sure if the domain name bill is late like last time or what. I'm curious because it says "site suspended" on the tab which is different from what I remember last year. Beavis Hi-Fi is still up. Does anyone know if they're late of the domain bill or is it something else this time?

Something else.

The current domain registration shows March 10th of this year and expiring next year.
Updated Date: 10-mar-2013
Creation Date: 09-mar-2006
Expiration Date: 09-mar-2014

So the domain name registration isn't the problem. It might be that hosting bill is late though  ;D

I hope nothing bad has happened because I love that site for quick references not to mention I love his use of Visio to create the schematics they are so much more HQ looking than others.

I do wish he would share his library though so we can all use it.

Another forum I am on regularly was the victim of denial of service hacking during the last 48hrs.  The webmaster's provider said that it was from some Syrian hackers, though I have no way of confirming that independently.  Whoever it originated from, it was malicious interference by someone.

I doubt that Beavis has the identical local provider, but there may have been something more widespread.

Be patient.  Nobody puts that much work into posting a pleasant informative page and then just throws in the towel.  And not everyone who hosts a hobby-related web-page has wads of spare time to put into repairing things when they get damaged.  It'll come back.  Maybe not today or tomorrow, but soon.

This would be a good time to troubleshoot your existig pedals, or learn some of them fancy jazz chords you've been meaning to get to.

hopefully the UN will let us know soon.

still down for me, FWIW - shame, because i like the presentation of the articles & i find it handy re-reading even the simpler explanations of caps & stuff when my mind gets too foggy on the theoretical side of things. i'd be surprised if it didn't come back - it's hardly dated or abandoned-looking, from what i could tell.

it's back up! Now I can go back re-re-re-reading articles about schematics already embedded in my brain. It gives me a sense of security, like a blanket.
