Hi mates!!!

I need your help, a bassist is asking me to build a loop switch, he wants to have  2 separate fx loops that join at the end but still selectable as A or B loop.
He already has a blender (remember the one I've build with the LED stripe on the bottom?  Wink ). so in this case he just would like to have both loops to join before the amp. I'm working at the moment on the ROG Splitter Blender,  2xDPDT with Sends grounded, though I think I'm going the hard way, it works but there are some issues, background ground noise when nothing is connected, feedback from the loop (in off position) if a distiortion pedal is on, etc..

So may be there is an easier way to achive this, though I have, as you can see from this picture, a question (mark!)

Hopefully I've explained myself enough  :icon_redface:, any help is welcome!!
Ciao

At the question mark, just connect both return lines to amp out. Do get rid of noise when not connected, use switching connectors, and ground the tip switch of the guitar input, and both returns. That way, they will be grounded when disconnected, then they will have signal when something is plugged in.

Also, you can just use one foot switch to switch between loop A/B, unless of course he is looking to be able to have both on as well. Then you can use the second one for a true bypass!

Thank lungdart for reply

indeed the fact is he wants A or B  and also A+B, that's the reason of questionmark, I'm not sure I can just connect both returns together. I think  I'm going to try that way and see.. you kow trial&error

May be a summing amplifier ? will see....

Thanks

Ahh I see. A summing amp should give you the isolation you need then! Good luck!
