Designed this puppy for a bandmate as a Cadillac tube overdrive pedal.  He wanted to throw in a tube screamer as well and fine tone control so I included a bandaxall high/low pot tone stage centered around 6 kHz. Designed for a 12AY7 but is can handle 12AX7 or a 12AU7 and not blow any components up. I made sure the filament supply is a DC +/- 6.5 V to keep noise down and used that same supply for the Opamps on the other stage. Instead of a 12 AC supply and using a single transformer to boost it up to ~240 V for the plates he was willing to spend an extra $20 and have a second xformer to go from 120->12->240 AC and have a nice solid ground through the mains.  Simulated nicely and made the boards up at Portland State's prototyping lab (slave labor as EE adjunct faculty is paying off at least a little bit.)

The 2 bypass switches are for the tube and opamp/tone stages with a two lead RG LED that will light up green/red for on/off. It will all fit into a nice 7x5" console box too.

I'll keep you posted on the build process in the coming months. I posted images in the gallery and tried to link them here, hope it works...
