Is this looper doable with the hardware I have?

Hi guys,
I'm trying to build an effects loop pedal where there are 2 separate loops that can be chosen by either of the 2 x 3pdt latched footswitches.  I saw on beavis audio they used a 4pdt footswitch to make this work.  Does anyone know if there is a way to get this done with the hardware I have?

Note, since there is no led/power planned for this box, I was hoping to have it set up so stomping on one switch(no matter how many times) would turn that loop on...BUT turn the other one off.  I've been trying to sketch wiring for it, but I can't visualize it, nor do I even know if it's possible.

The layouts I've seen online so far with 3pdt switches have it so you have to unclick one effects loop and then turn on the other.  I'm trying to avoid tap dancing as much as possible... :icon_biggrin:

I've taken a couple shots of the hardware below.  I'm hoping someone might have some insight on this or I'll need to redo the box and find a 4pdt switch...Also, if I only have one switch and no leds, I wouldn't be able to tell which loop I'm on...which could be problematic...

Thanks in advance!

Would this work or am I still asleep? One is A vs B, the other is TByp. Room for LEDs and a battery, which would last a very long time. Get a 2nd opinion.

You can't do what you want just using mechanical switches, you need to use relays or some other electronic switches and some logic chips or a microcontroller. I'm working on a relay based looper that will have what you want as an option, I'll be posting it soon.

The closest you can get with what you've got is what blackieNYC posted, this lets you select between two loops with one stomp, the other true bypasses both loops. You can have LEDs with this if you want. This will only need two stomps if you are on one loop then go to bypass and want to go back to the other loop, any other combination will only need one stomp, so not too much tap dancing. If you only want to switch between the two loops and have no bypass option, you just need the "A/B" switch.

Thanks guys!  I think I might just have to go with the single stomp and add power for a led.    :icon_redface:  I didn't realize the wiring would be so simple.  My only thought/concern was I thought I had read somewhere that you need to ground out the unused loop; the layout I'm thinking about(basically just the 1st switch) doesn't have the unused loop grounded.  As this is the 2nd layout I've seen that way, maybe I'm mistaken.  Thanks for the help!

To be clear, the link above will let you have "just one stomp", if you don't put it in bypass.  With the bypass, then you have three fx groups- A,B, and the clean, straight sound, which migh have you favorite comp or dist in front of the looper, or a delay after it. I would consider the LED option so you know where you are. On the unused section o the AB switch, put a LED and 4.7 k resistor to the top (A) and another to the bottom(B).  Tie the other ends of the R/LED pairs to the battery plus.  Tie the center of that middle section of the switch to ground.
