Problems with Boss CE-5 (is this how it works ?)

Hi all !

I tested a CE-5 ("digital" version) and I noticed it behaves quite strangely when I connect the two outputs for stereo effect:

- When the "Effect" knob is all the way counterclockwise, one channel is about 50% in level compared to the other one. The balance changes as you turn it up (clockwise) to an equal balance when it's fully up.

- When the "Effect" knob is fully turned clockwise, the EQ knobs will only affect the right channel but not the left one.

The pedal looks quite mint, I wonder if it has a problem or this is just the way it's supposed to work, any idea ?

I'd say there is nothing wrong with your pedal.

In stereo mode, Output B is your clean signal and Output A is the modulated signal only. This is why the EQ affects only Output A.

In mono mode, Output A has both clean and modulated signals mixed.
