Tremulus Lune Mod

A friend of mine gave me a Tremulus Lune and it has an unfinished mod. There is a on/off/on switch with two diodes in series. I can't find any info on this particular mod. Here is a link to a photo of it. It has a tone pad circuit board and works properly. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction of this mod. Thank you for the help.
