Hey,

I have built a Big Muff following this schematic (using 1n4148 as diodes) and I encounter a huge volume drop. After checking all connections etc I used an audio probe. Seems that the signal sounds good up to the base of Q2. On the Collector side of Q2 I get the sound that I need, but the volume is way low. On the Emitter side I get nothing.
I changed the transistor, thinking it was busted, but the same goes on with the new one.
Anyone who has an idea of what could be going on/wrong?

thanks.

Tim
