Is this an old National Semiconductor 2n2369 gold leads?



IIRC that was NSC old logo...

hfe: 60-90 <70>
Sounds really good in old vintage fuzzes.

I couldnt tell you what brand they are
I have the almost exact same ones gold legs and all.
ive tested all mine and they too have low hfe's

It looks better on paper than ink-rolled on a can, but that's the (old) logo.

I got mine from an old telephone test panel. mostly non "A", none NS. gain so low I've never thought of a use for them.

Try one in the dr qauck I did and it stopped the distortion I was getting.
