Hello  :icon_biggrin: i think everyone knows the typical effect blender or the effect looper, i'm keyboardist and I use a few machines with stereo output, I'd like to have an effect looper for using my guitar stompboxes with these, without losing the stereo. I have found the loopers and blenders (like this http://seanm.ca/stomp/bblender.html or this http://www.diystompboxes.com/tbbox/tbbox.jpg) but i'm too beginner to figure out how to make it with two In and two Outs to use it with my stereo devices. Can i have a little help with this?

btw, I talk spanish, sorry if i write too bad

Blessings!

hi, Sagga! welcome to the forum.

you should use a stereo jack, and take one channel from the tip and one from the ring, then build the same circuits you want 2 times (1 for left, 1 for right). just double everything. that's what i'd do, at least. you probably don't need to double things like power filtering and vbias, though (i think). hope this helps some.

cheers!

true bypass with stereo might be more complicated, but you could use the wiring here with a 3PDT (ignore the vero), and you'd have a set of free lugs for the 2nd channel: http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh126/roballey/Effects/Misc_PCBs/Millenium%20Bypass/millenium_bypass_2_vero.gif

Doubling the circuit you mean that i need to get an send/return for each channel? The idea is to use 1 pedal for the 2 channels :(

MrStab

yeah, one for each. it sucks, but there are ways you could save space, like maybe use quad opamps. you could still fit it all in the same pedal! it's still only 1 jack for each one, if you use stereo jacks. just another wire going to them.

Are they pedals you want to use in the loop stereo or mono? If the pedals only have one input and one output, you might as well just use a single output from your instrument and a mono looper.
