If only there were a clean .wav file to feed into an impulse response VST plugin 


Our house has a view into a 2km wide valley, with 200m high hills on each side. If it's not to windy it is rather echoey. Last years new years eve it was rather quiet and not at all windy so just for the hell of it I went and set up a two little condenser mics outside and recorded an hour of distant fireworks.

maybe it was reverse-reverb, and the echo fired the gun!

I'm hopeful that the book this is promoting comes with a CD for sampling purposes, but there's no mention of it on the Amazon page or the publisher's.
