A/B box with two inputs and one output

Is this possible and does anyone have a schematic for it? I searched around but couldn't find any info. Could I just buy a regular A/B box and turn it "backwards"? I want to have a chain of pedals for my clean sound, a separate chain for my dirty sound, and the ability to switch between them by stepping on just one pedal. That means I need a way to plug my guitar into two inputs. Can I split the signal coming from my guitar without affecting it's tone? Thanks!

You could do this with a passive AB loop switcher.  One input, one output for the signal chain and two loops with an FX send and an FX return.  I might have a drawing of this floating around somewhere....

Ah, I read it wrong the first time. You can use a simple SPDT to select where the path is going.

Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? Got a schematic lying around? If not I'm sure I can design one.

Here you go.  I drew this for someone ages ago for using one FX chain in the loop of two amps, so change FX input and output to guitar input and output,  Amp 1 Send and Return becomes Clean loop send and return, amp 2 send and return becomes dirty loop send and return.
