are you using a log pot, + are you getting 150 degrees or so of the pot's rotation?

For the record, I am not responsible for creating this Frankenstein. I wish!
The pedal still has the same full movement as before.  And the pot goes from totally silent to 100% volume.
They did a great job there.

The string mechanism was replaced with the pot and mechanism from a Boss FV500L.  It's a cam system, so it does look a little weird, but it does go all the way down.
There is an adjustable platform below the pot that they used to tweak the geometry until it worked perfectly.

The sides being cut out from was an earlier attempt to make the string easier to change.
The owner still couldn't change the string, so the string was simply eliminated all together!
