Is there a better way to do this then what i've drawn here?
The only thing I haven't shown is a way to turn the boost off. I know I can add another 3pdt to bypass the boost

You might try looking at this:  http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/two_in_one_wiring.pdf

Generally, it takes TWO switches...one to bypass the whole shebang, and one to flip between the 2 effects in the box.
I'd do it that way - works very well in my experience.   :icon_mrgreen:

Not a bad idea then I can have Botha effects not sure why that didn't cross my mind

Edit:
Actually this only allows for one effect to run into the other it doesn't appear to flip flip one before the other

How bout a badass looking modular patchbay?  :icon_biggrin: I looked over it and I think a 4PDT config, like the one you have there is the simplest solution. You could use CMOS switches as described below. More work, but cheaper:

I'd go with the patchbay  :icon_wink:

Right...sorry, I didn't really "get" that you wanted to place the boost both before and after your stuff (who could guess, when it says "pre" and "post" boost, ha ha!).

That is so unusual it just didn't register.    I'd simply make a boost for each function, man! 20 minutes each.  But I'm old school, all about multiple switches with more control over what's happening.

To do this the way you are proposing, I'd go down the trail of knutolai's idea above.  WAY too much for my interest, but maybe you have other plans that this would be great for?  Good luck!

This will work.  Note that if you're fine with simply using the position of a toggle bat handle to indicate what comes first, then a 3PDT toggle is enough, since one would not need the extra set of contacts for switching LEDs.
