Mockman Vs the original Rockman

Well, I breadboarded the Mockman and wasn't all that impressed. It got the basic distortion tone, but really needs that compression to sound right, IMO. I don't have a compressor, and I'd need a bigger board than I've got to build it into a pedal. I don't etch my own boards, so I'm kinda at the mercy of Radio Shack for my PCB's.
